Job summary

Pratt & Whitney's Columbus operations spearhead military and commercial engine component production, including forgings and airfoils. The Supervisor, Quality Inspection will drive safety, quality and delivery in inspection operations while guiding a skilled team to deliver on-time outcomes.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with quality and manufacturing engineering, process improvements, and shift overlap readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment; OR Associate's degree and 4+ years in same.
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent with 6+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the team by driving a safety-first culture.
• Provide training and development for the Inspection Team.
• Lead a team empowered to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Identify opportunities to document quality requirements and implement improvements.
• Provide transparency in quality operations performance and plans to address gaps.
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering teams on quality concerns and continuous improvement.
• Lead the team to develop continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives.
• Be available for shift overlap.
