Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Columbus, GA, is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Inspection for the Weekend Shift. You will lead quality compliance in inspection operations, drive a safety-first culture, and develop the team to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals. Collaboration with engineering teams and cross-functional leaders is essential.

The role is onsite with overlap duties and a focus on continuous improvement and on-time delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in engineering, manufacturing ops, quality, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in engineering/manufacturing/quality or related environment; or 4+ years with an Associate degree.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in shifting-priority environments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality compliance within Inspection Operations and meet customer expectations for on-time delivery.
• Drive a safety-first culture and enable the inspection team through training and development.
• Lead a team empowered to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Identify opportunities for documentation of quality requirements to drive improvements.
• Provide transparency in quality operations performance and plans to address gaps.
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering teams on addressing quality concerns and continuous improvement.
