Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Inspection for Weekend Shift in Columbus. This onsite role focuses on ensuring quality compliance in inspection operations and meeting customer expectations through on-time delivery.

The candidate will lead and develop the inspection team, drive safety, coordinate with quality and manufacturing engineers, and pursue continuous improvement to improve efficiency to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years in engineering/manufacturing/quality or related field.
• Alternatively an Associate’s with 4+ years in engineering/manufacturing/quality or related field.
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent with 6+ years in engineering/manufacturing/quality or related field.

Responsibilities

• Drive a safety-first culture for the team.
• Provide training and development for the Inspection Team.
• Lead a team empowered to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Identify opportunities to document quality requirements and implement improvements.
• Provide transparency in quality operations performance and plans to address gaps.
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering teams to address quality concerns and continuous improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet customer objectives.
• Be available for shift overlap.
