Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Quality and Operations Management System in Lewisville, TX. The role collaborates across departments to drive continuous improvement, with a Monday–Friday onsite schedule and strong emphasis on data analysis and process validation.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of quality experience, including familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, Gage R&R, and Excel reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or related field with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with quality programs/tools, 5S, Lean and Six Sigma preferred.
• Experience in process/validation and product introduction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Validate process, system integration and testing methods (Gage R&R).
• Create and review data analysis and trending reports.
• Map quality processes and drive workflow improvements.
• Lead CAPA/CI initiatives and perform root cause analysis.
• Provide training on quality tools and ensure compliance with standards.
