Ainsley Search Group seeks a Quality Engineer to join a global OEM manufacturing site in Chester County. This permanent, hands-on role supports the Quality Manager with opportunities for growth toward Quality Manager and a lucrative benefits package.

The position requires a BA/BS in engineering and several years of quality, process, or manufacturing engineering experience in a manufacturing setting, with AS9100 exposure and strong analytical/communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields.
• Recent years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer or Industrial Engineer in a Manufacturing environment.
• Experience in AS9100.
• Excellent people and communication skills and ability to motivate staff through changes and improvements.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision; proactive problem solving.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Quality Manager and collaborate with the quality team to improve processes on the production floor.
• Diagnose process-related issues across incoming materials, equipment, production and engineering; implement root-cause analysis and corrective actions to resolve bottlenecks.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives and act as an agent of change.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate quality data to business partners (Engineers, Production Associates, Management, Operations, Sales, Vendors, etc).
• Participate in internal and external audits; maintain audit documentation and develop corrective plans.
• Analyze manufacturing process flows to identify quality, cost reduction, and throughput improvements.
• Collaborate with Process Engineer and Design Engineer regarding tooling to improve production efficiency.
• Conduct root cause and process analyses for re-work/returns; identify bottlenecks and revise processes to reduce rework.
