Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in Tempe, AZ is seeking a QC Supervisor to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations in Quality Control. You will lead QC inspectors, support the QC Manager, and help build a competent team to achieve timely execution of tasks.

The role emphasizes adherence to procedures, safety, and data integrity across shifts, with responsibility for training and staff development, and ensuring quality throughout manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in regulated Quality Assurance and/or metrology; or equivalent
• Experience with Medical Device QMS and risk management is preferred
• Experience with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 is preferred
• Experience with MasterControl, SAP, and SharePoint is preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift personnel in quality control, ensuring safety and quality
• Troubleshoot shop floor issues with engineering support and QA
• Maintain quality requirements and keep management informed of status
• Promote quality, safety, lean initiatives and training programs
• Review batch records and authorize release in ERP system
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, data integrity, and regulatory standards
