Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day production activities at the most economical cost while meeting quality standards.
• Create short-interval look-ahead production schedules to communicate and track upcoming events.
• Promote site safety programs, lean initiatives, training, and ensure SOPs/Good Manufacturing Practices are followed.
• Participate in resolution of employee issues and coach staff to encourage teamwork; evaluate performance.
• Manage available resources to ensure on-time production and delivery of customer orders.
• Verify production data is accurately recorded and hours worked.
• Ensure smooth startup of new processes and ongoing production across departments.
• Maximize capital resources and maintain equipment and facilities.
• Continuously evaluate processes and lead improvement teams.
