Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to ensure quality standards across processes and shipments, reporting to the Sr. Quality Manager in an onsite role in Wilmington or Methuen, MA.

Requirements include a BS in engineering and 2+ years of related experience, with knowledge of QMS and Lean principles. Travel up to 15% is required; relocation is not offered. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related quality experience.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Knowledge of process audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine process audits.
• Support MRB disposition activities with Buyers, Operations, and Supplier Quality.
• Support and maintain calibration systems.
• Work closely with Manufacturing (Tech Ops) to support daily production needs.
• Participate in Gemba Walks and maintain Gemba action items.
• Support quality initiatives and continuous improvement activities across cross-functional teams.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 15% travel is required.
