Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. in Broomfield, Colorado, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to partner with Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Design and Manufacturing Engineering to manage supplier quality activities and act as the single point of contact for the Business Unit.

You will drive supplier qualifications, CAPA, NCM, supplier surveillance, and corrective actions, coordinating with suppliers to ensure conformance to MKS specifications. The role requires travel up to 25% and is on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in technical field or engineering.
• A minimum of 2+ years of related experience working in quality/supplier quality/manufacturing engineering.
• Strong Project management skills.
• Demonstrated use of Quality tools (FMEA, SPC, GR&R, CAPA/RCA, process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Execute supplier quality activities of purchased products (Supplier approval, Product qualification/FAI, Nonconformance management, Supplier Corrective Actions, supplier surveillance activities, etc.).
• Act as liaison between Engineering and suppliers to ensure conformance of purchased products to MKS specifications.
• Lead supplier quality activities for your assigned Business Units.
• Managing suppliers’ corrective actions and key process improvements relevant to your business.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of Travel is required (mainly local/domestic).
