Job summary

Black & Veatch in Harriman, TN seeks a skilled Construction QC professional to join our on-site team. You will develop and maintain site quality programs, coordinate with engineers, suppliers and field teams, and ensure work meets codes and specifications.

This role emphasizes safety, training, supervision of direct reports, and continuous improvement within an ESOP-owned company with strong benefits.

Qualifications

3+ years of Construction QC experience with degree, or 5+ years without.
Experience documenting inspection results and compliance with codes.
Preferred: AWS/CWI or similar certification.

Responsibilities

Establishes implements and maintains site quality program
Coordinates with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, regulatory representatives and field to ensure that work is done correctly the first time
Assures work on-site meets applicable codes and specifications
Surveillance/Audits of site Contractor Quality Control Programs
Responsible for all aspects of welder qualification on-site testing
Responsible for PWHT and NDE coordination and testing documentation
Establishes inspection plan and tracks inspections/actions
Reviews turnover packages prior to handoff to Startup
