Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a qualified Electrical & Instrumentation QC Inspector for on-site duties in Harriman, TN. The role ensures crafts and subcontractors meet project standards through on-site testing, reporting, and coordination during MOPO, Shutdown, and Commissioning phases.

Preferred candidates hold a B.S. in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 4+ years of construction QC experience and are comfortable leading inspections of electrical and instrumentation work on complex

Qualifications

• Electrical inspection experience in heavy projects is preferred.
• Experience in construction QC processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assures on-site work meets applicable codes and specifications.
• Observe and prepare inspection reports with photos and illustrations.
• Coordinate inspections for MOPO, Shutdown, Commissioning, and Start-Up activities.
• Review turnover packages prior to commissioning startup handoff.
• Oversee installations related to Medium Voltage, control instrumentation, SCADA, and related systems.
