Job summary

Marvin Engineering Co. in Inglewood, CA is seeking a QC Inspector to perform independent inspections with basic GD&T knowledge, document results in SAP, and ensure compliance with MEC drawings and contracts.

The role is 100% onsite and requires a High School diploma or GED, GD&T certification, and at least five years in QC. SAP and MS Office skills are valued; travel up to 25% for source inspections is possible.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• GD&T certification and/or 3 years of GD&T inspection experience.
• Five years minimum experience as a QC inspector.
• ASQ topics certifications or college degree a plus.
• Experience with hardware blueprint reading and contractual requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections and verifications to MEC procedures and contractual obligations.
• Inspect products using basic hand tools and bench inspection equipment; interpret GD&T.
• Review NDT and supplier documentation per MEC Purchase Orders.
• Generate inspection reports in SAP and MEC policies.
• Identify non-conforming material and issue Quality Notifications.
