ECC on Wake Island is seeking a Quality Control Manager for a DoD POL facilities maintenance project. The start window is Jan/Feb 2027, with anticipated on-site work through Nov 2027.

You will serve as the primary spokesperson for the CQC Program and coordinate with client communications. Responsibilities include enforcing the ECC Quality Control Program, leading subcontractors and project teams, overseeing testing and documentation, processing submittals and RFIs, and ensuring timely close-out

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with diplomacy.
• Ability to think independently and reason through problems.
• Experience teaching quality concepts to others.
• Proven leadership of subcontractors and project teams in quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure work meets ECC Quality Control Program, design specs, codes, and standards.
• Promote and support safety program daily.
• Implement Three-Phase Control Process per standards.
• Facilitate QC meetings and document minutes.
• Manage testing program, evaluate results, document findings.
• Inspect materials receipt for contract compliance.
• Process submittals and timely client submissions.
• Author quality documents and daily/client reports.
• Log RFIs and manage corrective actions.
• Close out actions and stop-work when needed.
• Onsite presence during construction.
• Additional duties as assigned.
