Job summary

Milton J Wood Fire Protection, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Quality Control Manager to lead all QA/QC activities for the Pensacola project. You will ensure compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and applicable codes, interfacing with client representatives and inspectors.

You will administer the site Quality Control Program, manage ITPs, quality documentation, and project turnover packages, and promote safety and continuous improvement on site.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5 years of industrial construction quality control experience.
• Current Contractor Quality Management (CQM) training certificate is required.
• Strong knowledge of industrial construction practices and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Experience coordinating subcontractor quality activities.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage the site's Quality Control Program.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Coordinate inspections for civil, structural, mechanical, piping, welding, electrical, and instrumentation work.
• Manage inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and project turnover packages.
• Lead site quality meetings with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Identify, track, and resolve quality deficiencies.
• Verify materials and equipment meet project specifications.
• Support commissioning and startup activities with complete quality documentation.
