Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking a Public Area Attendant for on-site work at Riverbend. The role involves keeping lobbies and public facilities clean and well-maintained, including restrooms, dining areas, and front desk spaces.

You will also assist with turndown service, report maintenance, and handle guest requests in a courteous manner. Shifts are casual and part-time, primarily 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with weekends and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Prior hotel/lodging experience is preferred but not required (level I).
• Candidate must speak, write, and/or understand English.
• Excellent communication skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public sitting rooms, public halls and all public restrooms throughout the mansion.
• Cleans and maintains dining room, boardroom and occasionally spa area.
• Sweep, vacuum and mop flooring throughout public areas; post caution signs when appropriate.
• Polish furniture, fixtures and railings as needed per venue.
• Vacuum and polish elevators; dusting all public areas.
• Maintain supply inventory in Public Area cleaning closets; report maintenance immediately.
