Job summary

Kohler Co. is seeking an onsite housekeeping team member to maintain guest rooms and public areas in Kohler, WI. The role includes cleaning lounges, restaurants, banquet spaces, and front-of-house areas with emphasis on detail and presentation.

Work is full-time with weekend and weekday shifts from 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. Applicants must be able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Candidate must tolerate being on their feet for the majority of the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean public sitting rooms, public hallways and restrooms throughout the hotel.
• Clean and maintain restaurants and banquet halls.
• Sweep and vacuum carpets and area rugs.
• Polish furniture and fixtures.
• Vacuum and polish elevators.
• Keep the front of the hotel free from trash.
• Clean rugs, carpets, tiled floors, and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom & dustpan, and shampoo machine in the Front of House.
• Perform daily assigned tasks for restrooms, lifts, back areas, terrace, etc.
• Perform special cleaning schedule given by the housekeeping control desk and/or housekeeping management
• Report maintenance to supervisor/ housekeeping desk immediately.
• Comply with lost and found policy of the hotel.
• Assist guests in Public Areas when required.
