Job summary

Rimports, LLC, A Sterno Group Company, seeks a Supply Chain Specialist for our Provo onsite location. The role supports planning, procurement, inventory management, and coordination of materials to meet production and customer delivery requirements, collaborating with Operations, Production, Sales, Purchasing, and Logistics.

Key duties include monitoring stock, creating and processing purchase orders, expediting supplier orders, reviewing demand forecasts, and maintaining ERP data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business, operations management, logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory management, or related operations functions
• Experience with inventory control, purchasing, or production scheduling processes
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to analyze data and generate reports to support operational decision-making

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain adequate stock to support production and demand
• Create and process purchase orders for timely procurement of materials
• Track and expedite supplier orders to ensure on-time delivery
• Review usage, demand trends, and forecasts to support planning
• Coordinate with Sales, Production, and Operations to support schedules and shipping
• Maintain accurate inventory, purchasing, and planning data in ERP systems
• Identify and resolve shortages, discrepancies, and supply chain issues
• Prepare operational reports related to inventory, purchasing, forecasting, and production
• Support continuous improvement through process documentation and data analysis
• Manage supply chain projects and provide cross-functional operational support
