Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Promontory, UT, seeks a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator – Level 3 to support production with materials planning and movement. This 100% onsite role closes work orders, orders materials to the factory floor, and coordinates product flow.

The position requires close collaboration with production planners and facilities teams; a high School Diploma plus 4 years of inventory experience are expected. Local to Utah preferred, 4-10 schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of inventory and operations support experience.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing, quality basics, property, engineering flows.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively.

Responsibilities

• Use of MRP to close work orders; pick material from Stores
• Advises management, planner and factory schedulers of production status and escalates problems to ensure labor, tools, equipment, and services are provided as needed
• Coordinates with other internal departments to ensure the movement of parts is delivered on time
• Works within the department to ensure supporting documents are available before production
• Coordination of product movement across the value stream
