Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet company standards. This role involves completing work orders, making-ready vacant units, managing inventory, and documenting tasks to support efficient property operations.

The position requires EPA refrigerant certifications and state/local licenses, plus a valid driver's license for on-site duties.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certification required.
• State and local certifications as required.
• Valid driver's license to operate golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments and coordinate vendors as needed.
• Manage materials, inventory, and notify maintenance supervisor on re-ordering needs.
• Document work orders accurately and timely for tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities as needed.
• Support cost-saving by repairing parts rather than replacing when possible.
