Job summary

IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services, seeking an Associate Project Manager for small to medium projects. You will lead project execution, ensure safety, quality, and financial performance, and manage staffing, materials, and customer delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years as a Lead Communications Technician or similar role.
• Minimum of five (5) years in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
• Proficient with a computer and skilled with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Meet Company driving standards.
• Ability to define a project, create a scope of work, estimate, develop tasks and manage to completion.
• Ability to use trade tools listed in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage and discipline project staff per policy.
• Act as senior liaison with customer representatives.
• Plan, monitor and maintain project profitability to meet goals.
• Ensure deadlines meet customer requirements.
• Manage workload, staffing levels and progress of delivery and installation.
• Ensure productivity and budget compliance for project completion.
• Review job cost postings, invoices and financial reporting.
• Complete timesheets, material transfers and change orders timely.
• Perform quality checks and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Attend meetings and serve as on-site customer contact as required.
