WECTEC Staffing Services is hiring a Project Manager with engineering experience for the Value Engineering Team within the Engineering and Construction unit. The role focuses on managing innovative engineering projects from design through implementation that impact our Solar and BESS portfolio.

It will be an onsite role with per diem provided. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, 3+ years of project management experience, and strong leadership of cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering projects from design to implementation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate multiple team members.
• Strong project management fundamentals including scope, schedule, budget, and risk management.
• Understanding of engineering design processes, technical specifications, and implementation challenges.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from conceptual design through commissioning and implementation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to identify product improvements or cost reduction ideas.
• Support implementation by providing technical input and project feasibility assessments.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and partner communications.
• Attend industry conferences and network with suppliers and vendors.
• Contribute to process improvements and best practices for project delivery.
