Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services is seeking a BESS Project Manager for a 1-year contract in Juno Beach, FL. You will coordinate internal/external resources across development, engineering, estimating, supply chain, scheduling and construction for Battery Energy Storage System projects within the E&C department.

Expect occasional travel and reporting to the onsite Manager. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Construction/Finance, 5 years' experience, and exposure to renewables; PMP and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or finance/accounting.
• Experience with electricity markets, renewables, and battery projects.
• PMP certification and advanced Excel skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate matrixed project development teams to meet the project schedule.
• Coordinate environmental, regulatory, cultural, and land acquisition considerations.
• Develop the project's technical scope.
• Support PPA and GIA negotiations with origination and development teams.
• Coordinate engineering, estimating and procurement requirements.
• Present financial model to business units and manage approvals.
• Negotiate and implement contracts for services including geotechnical and EPC/PC construction.
• Travel to project locations as needed.
