Job summary

Martin-Harris Construction LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Operations Department. The role acts as a vital link between architect, owner, subcontractors, and the office, supporting the project team throughout the construction process.

The successful candidate will assist with schedule adherence, document control, and coordination across teams on active projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Procore, Timberline, Microsoft Word/Excel, and P-6 scheduling software.
• Willing to learn MHC procedures and be a team player.
• Able to work on site at active construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Project Manager and field supervisory personnel to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
• Acquires an in-depth knowledge of all contract documents and the scope of work of each subcontractor to support field personnel and office staff.
• Maintains an accurate and up-to-date Contract Drawing Log in Procore.
• Manages onsite files as required.
• Keeps project correspondence organized and accessible in files.
• Works with Project Team to archive files, plans, etc., for future reference.
• Assists in acquiring, logging, tracking, and distributing submittals from suppliers and subcontractors as required by the specifications.
• Manages information like meeting attendance, RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, permits, inspections, coordination, scheduling and close-out documents including as-built drawings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
