Job summary

Hoffman Construction seeks a Project Engineer to join the Construction Department, reporting to the Project Superintendent and Manager. This role operates fully at the project site, coordinating with design professionals, clients, and subcontractors to resolve coordination issues and provide technical guidance on-site.

The starting salary range is $78,000 - $81,100 based on experience, with potential assignment adjustments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent field experience.
• High school diploma/GED as minimum education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Run meetings with area managers, design team, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Coordinate CSA elements and ensure integration of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Review submittals and manage RFI process for accuracy and functionality.
• Assist field coordination and resolution of coordination items on site.
• Train client personnel in operations and maintenance of CSA elements.
