Job summary

Hoffman Construction seeks a Project Engineer to coordinate CSA elements and act as the onsite technical advisor on diverse construction projects. You will run meetings with area managers, design teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring coordinated execution and resolution of field coordination issues.

The role requires close collaboration with design professionals, clients, and subcontractors, with a focus on solving complex coordination problems on site and maintaining project schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field work experience required.
• Education background in materials and methods of construction.

Responsibilities

• Run meetings with area managers, design team members, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Coordinate CSA elements within project design.
• Organize training of client’s personnel in CSA operations and maintenance.
• Review submittal information and coordinate multiple submittals for accuracy and functionality.
• Generate and distribute RFIs and change documents.
• Field survey layout of control lines and benchmarks.
• Serve as technical advisor onsite.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
