Job summary

Hoffman Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support the on-site Engineering Department through the lifecycle of commercial construction projects in Boise, Idaho. Reporting to the Program Engineer, you will coordinate with project teams, design professionals, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to resolve field coordination issues and maintain alignment across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Project Engineering experience in commercial building construction required.
• Bachelor of science in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, construction management or equivalent degree and/or equivalent craft level work experience.
• Experience with design drawings, construction documents, and field coordination workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support meetings with area managers, design team, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Coordinate among subcontractors to resolve field coordination items.
• Review and interpret design drawings and construction documents for constructability.
• Coordinate CSA systems within the overall project scope.
