Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company is seeking a Project Engineer to join the on‑site Engineering Department in Childress, TX. This role involves providing essential technical and administrative support throughout the lifecycle of construction projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Project Engineering experience in commercial building construction.
• Deep understanding of construction means and methods.
• Must be able to pass the Hoffman Drug and Alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support meetings with area managers and subcontractors.
• Review and interpret design drawings and construction documents.
• Assist in training of client’s personnel in operations and maintenance.

Skills

Project Engineering experience

Understanding of construction methods

Proficient in Microsoft Office 365

Experience with project management software

Excellent communication skills

Education
