Job summary

Sampson Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager and Superintendent on commercial construction projects. You will help manage contract administration, budget, and schedule while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction and project quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, communicating with owners and design teams, and supporting proposals and interviews for new business opportunities. Regular site presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in construction or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
• Experience with project budgeting, scheduling and contract administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with all project stakeholders.
• Assist in managing project budget and schedule.
• Understand and apply owner's contract requirements.
• Support subcontracting processes and relationships.
• Coordinate and communicate with project team and owner representatives.
• Travel to project sites as needed to support the superintendent.
