Job summary

Brice Construction & Design LLC in Houston, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to plan and coordinate construction activities while ensuring technical and reporting requirements are followed. You will adhere to plans, specifications, schedules, and permits, and will use Excel, HCSS, and other systems on design-build projects.

This role requires travel 70–90% of the time and collaboration with construction managers, subcontractors, and cost accounting to deliver successful projects that meet safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management; comparable experience considered.
• Two–three years of civil project engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret plans and contract terms including job cost coding.
• Ensure field activities adhere to contract plans, specs, and company policies.
• Liaise with construction managers to facilitate project objectives.
• Coordinate work schedules with job subcontractors.
• Complete daily project reporting including cost analysis, timekeeping, and safety documentation.
• Travel to project locations up to 70–90% of the time.
• Assist Project Manager with day-to-day project operations.
