Job summary

Brice Builders LLC seeks an on-site Project Engineer in Anchorage, AK to support construction projects with daily reporting, records management, and field coordination. You will help maintain schedules, submittals, RFIs, and QA/QC activities on active sites.

The role requires collaboration with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, and field teams to ensure timely delivery and compliance with contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with construction project documentation and reporting.
• Knowledge of federal construction project documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily project reporting including timekeeping, environmental and permit compliance documentation, and daily construction logs.
• Create, organize, and maintain project records including inspection reports, job diaries, photographs, video logs, and subcontractor documentation.
• Assist with submittal preparation, tracking, and log management, including RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, and approvals.
• Support Requests for Information (RFI) development, tracking, and response coordination between field teams, design teams, and owners.
• Provide field inspections and work activity logging as required to support quality control and progress verification.
• Assist the Construction Manager, Project Manager, Quality Control staff, and Superintendent with job-related administrative, technical, and coordination tasks.
