Job summary

Kokosing Construction is seeking a on-site construction engineer to plan, develop, and manage onsite activities for heavy highway and bridge projects. You will lead project engineering personnel, manage submittals and RFIs, and support the project schedule with Primavera P6.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 3+ years of construction engineering experience. Bridge experience is a strong plus; PE preferred but not required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred or equivalent training.
• 3+ years of construction engineering experience.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering activities for heavy highway and bridge projects.
• Oversee project engineering personnel and administer submittals, RFIs, and coordination with design teams.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and support the project schedule (Primavera P6).
• Represent the company in meetings with clients and A/E teams; interface with on-site departments to resolve issues and maintain quality.
