Job summary

Career Team seeks a Project Director to oversee a single project within its workforce development portfolio. You will ensure the project’s strategic plan is executed, with strong focus on program compliance, budget adherence, and staff leadership.

The role requires experience in dynamic team environments, excellent communication, and the ability to drive performance across multiple functions. Onsite work in Everett, WA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of operational leadership experience in a dynamic environment.
• 3+ years in a fast-paced, team-based setting with strong communication and professionalism.
• Ability to lead in a dynamic team—excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• 2+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive).

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary local contact and contract liaison for funding sources.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and program policies.
• Oversee expenditure monitoring and adherence to budgets.
• Coach frontline staff and develop service delivery plans for projects.
• Plan and implement policies for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Lead program initiatives while supporting staff growth and daily operations.
• Conduct regular coaching and annual performance evaluations.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle personnel matters with tact.
