Job summary

Career Team, LLC is seeking a Project Director to oversee a single project in Snohomish County, WA. The role ensures strategic plan execution, contract compliance, and high-quality workforce functions. You will coach staff, manage expenditures, and coordinate with funding sources to deliver outcomes.

The position is 100% onsite and requires strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration across teams to achieve program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of experience in operational leadership and management.
• 3+ years of demonstrated ability working in a dynamic team environment with an aptitude for communication, interpersonal skills to work cooperatively with others, show courteousness, and having a high level of professionalism.
• Ability to lead in a dynamic team environment - must have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• 2+ years of experience with computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Mail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Drive.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to lead a team with different working styles.
• A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality, handling personnel matters effectively, and handling employee and personnel inquiries with sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy.
• Ability to work in a variety of settings with a culturally diverse customer base with the ability to be culturally sensitive.
• Sharp attention to detail with exceptional organizational, analytical, research, and critical thinking skills, including the ability to perform and complete a high volume of work assignments with speed and accuracy.
• Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Astounding ability to multitask and be proactive
• Experience and knowledge of WIOA and other workforce development contracts/programs
• A Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Oversee a project to ensure it aligns with the strategic plan and contract requirements.
• Coach and supervise front-line staff and drive performance metrics.
• Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance and avoid disallowed costs.
• Develop service delivery plans and improve processes for customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary local contact and liaison for funding sources.
• Lead teams to execute program initiatives and support staff development.
• Manage daily programmatic operations and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Approach tasks with a solutions-oriented and responsive mindset.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
