Marketing By Design LLC in San Diego, CA seeks a Project Coordinator to support a key client account onsite from 9:00 to 5:30, Monday through Friday. You bridge client needs with internal teams, ensuring timely progress and clear communication.

The role emphasizes on-site collaboration, proactive coordination, and strong attention to detail with packaging design and artwork workflows from brief to completion. Experience in packaging, branding or CPG is helpful.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Project/Traffic Coordination, Client Services or a similar client-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Mac OS.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as MBD’s on-site representative within the client’s office, building positive and trusted relationships.
• Work alongside the Account Manager and Project Manager to support smooth project delivery and client communication.
• Serve as a key contact for client questions, project updates, follow-ups, and information requests.
• Obtain answers from the client in person where needed, reducing delays through the project workflow.
• Translate client feedback into clear, actionable tasks for internal teams.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identifying risks or delays and communicating next steps.
• Maintain professionalism and sound judgment in client-facing conversations, including escalation when needed.
• Manage workflow and project information including approvals, feedback and key documentation.
