Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a detail‑oriented Project Accountant to join our team at our office near Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. Recent graduates or accounting professionals with 1–3 years of experience will gain hands‑on exposure to project accounting in a fast‑paced construction environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of accounting or project accounting experience.
• Internship experience in accounting or construction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project financial records including costs, billing and reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers to track budgets and performance.
• Process project billing and support job-cost reporting.
• Enter and analyze project data in ERP and Excel.
• Support accounts receivable for project billing.
• Assist with process improvements and special projects.
