Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Construction Project Accountant to support a growing facilities management and construction services client in Houston. You will oversee financial operations across capital projects, drive efficiency, and partner with Project Managers and leadership to improve financial visibility.

The role blends strategic process improvement with hands-on accounting, ensuring accurate reporting and strong controls in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of project accounting, construction accounting, or project financial management.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, financial controls, and project reporting.
Advanced Excel skills including INDEX/MATCH.
Data analysis and reconciliations experience.
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication with Project Managers, Operations, and Finance leadership.
Experience with financial reporting, project reconciliations, and account analysis.

Responsibilities

Oversee financial operations across a portfolio of capital projects.
