Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Onsite Program Controls Manager to oversee complex transportation projects from planning through closeout. You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and serve as the primary liaison with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.

This role is 100% onsite. The ideal candidate has a PE in Florida or AICP certification, 15+ years of transit project leadership, and a proven track record in governance, risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or AICP-certified.
• 15+ years of experience managing large-scale transportation or transit projects.
• Proven leadership skills with diverse teams and complex projects.
• Extensive knowledge of scheduling, budgeting, risk management, procurement, contract administration.
• Experience with Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, CMAR and project controls.
• Knowledge of transit asset management planning and Federal auditing/compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support senior project leadership in overall project management and execution.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget compliance.
• Manage and coordinate interdisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Monitor construction progress and collaborate with construction management teams.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
• Implement governance, risk management, and quality assurance processes.
• Mentor staff, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Assist with business development activities, including proposals and client presentations.
