Job summary

RS&H, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Project Controls Manager to oversee the project controls function for complex transportation and CEI projects.

You will manage budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and risk assessment while leading a team of project controllers in a hybrid/remote setting. The role demands strong leadership, 8+ years in the AEC industry, and familiarity with ERP tools such as Deltek, Oracle, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 4 in the AEC industry
• Leadership: 2+ years of experience managing a team of Project Control professionals
• Licenses/Certifications: PMP, CPCP, or CAPM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project lifecycle process, including WBS setup, budgeting, scope and fee proposals, and financial analysis.
• Supervise and mentor the project controller team with clear performance objectives.
• Lead monthly financial reviews with project management, accounting, and FP&A teams.
• Develop and implement project controls policies to monitor and mitigate risk.
• Oversee contract and subcontract execution and invoicing with project management.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure maximum rates are invoiced and compliance is maintained.
• Foster a high-performance team environment through coaching and communication.
