Job summary

Apex Tool Group is seeking a Production Planner to lead planning, scheduling, and expediting of materials and product at our Lexington, South Carolina facility. This onsite role requires coordinating with multiple departments to meet the Master Production Schedule and ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in production planning, strong SAP knowledge, and the ability to prioritize multiple value streams while communicating effectively across all levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production control or scheduling.
• Experience on a production floor is required.
• Proficient in prioritizing multiple value streams.
• Ability to communicate across all levels.
• SAP experience in production order environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the production of assigned products and value streams.
• Release POs for outside vendor processing.
• Ensure material availability for on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Operations and Quality teams to align needs.
• Maintain shop floor and KPI visibility; present Past Due/OTD/Sales if applicable.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
