Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is seeking a Controlled Storage Custodian to manage construction and facility related material within the Weapons Production Directorate. You will ensure item traceability, proper ML levels, and adherence to storage procedures while supporting project milestones.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment on onsite locations in Los Alamos, NM.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage material in accordance with QA and industry standards.
• Above average computer skills with Inventory Control and Material Tracking systems; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Utilize multiple inventory management systems to maintain and verify inventory levels and item traceability.
• Store items on shelves and organize for expeditious retrieval.
• Locate, pull, and stage material for construction related activities.
• Ensure correct Management Level (ML) for end use and compliance with codes and standards.
• Follow institution-controlled storage procedures and QA requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean workspace and accurate inventory records.
