Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM, seeks a Production Control Specialist for Materials Management within the Weapons Program. You will manage MTE, production materials, and classified items, ensuring safe, compliant handling and accurate traceability.

You will oversee inventories, staging, and kitting for production activities, while enforcing ML and PQL compliance and utilizing multiple tracking systems in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Demonstrated ability to manage materials per QA standards and best practices.
• Proficiency with inventory control systems and material tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage Measurement and Testing Equipment (MTE), production materials, weapons components, and classified materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple systems with full item traceability.
• Locate, pull, stage, and kit materials for production and maintenance activities.
• Verify materials meet Management Level (ML) and Procurement Quality Level (PQL) requirements.
