This hands-on role focuses on quality control and collaboration with inventory control, merchandising, and receiving teams. You will verify HACCP checks, conduct preoperational inspections, enforce GMPs and SOPs, operate the metal detector, and mentor QA technicians on food safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HACCP Training required.
• Familiarity with GMPs and SOPs.
• 1 year produce experience in QA role.

Responsibilities

• Verify HACCP checks and document in Audit Comply.
• Perform preoperational inspections including ATP testing.
• Enforce GMPs and SOPs across value-added departments and coach leadership on food safety.
• Operate metal detector.
• Assist training on food safety programs with onsite leadership.
• Maintain compliance with Critical Control Points in Value-added division and respond to issues.
• Ensure storage chemical cages and cabinets are secure.
• Communicate issues to Value-Added Leadership for prompt action.
• Conduct environmental testing per SOP.
