Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical leadership in Indianapolis, on-site. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency through process improvements, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.

The role emphasizes problem solving, project management, and hands-on mentoring of hourly personnel while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Chemical, Industrial, or Food Engineering is required (or equivalent).
• Self-starter who can navigate ambiguity, stay organized, and deliver results with urgency and ownership.
• Strong project management capability, multitasking and time management, plus cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to achieve safety, quality, production, and cost goals.
• Identify, develop and implement process improvements with measurable impact.
• Troubleshoot processing equipment with Operations and Maintenance and improve reliability.
• Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental standards and GMP.
