Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate across functional lines at all levels.
• Decision-making ability, planning and time management.
• Ability to manage a manufacturing environment under high-stress conditions.
• Ability to train and coach others to improve performance.
• Familiarity with Ingredion GMP, Quality and Safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day operations to produce quality, quantity to meet customer needs.
• Maintain historical data, analyze key efficiencies and troubleshoot to meet costs and production goals.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to support production needs and ensure completion.
• Promote Safety, Health, and Environmental programs and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor process conditions and propose cost-effective corrective actions.
• Analyze processes and develop new operating techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
• Assist in training operations personnel in process design and operational techniques.
