Job summary

Alliance North America in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking an onsite Process Engineer II to develop, launch, and continuously improve assembly processes for generators, hybrids, and compressors. You will lead PFMEA activities, optimize line layouts, and collaborate with Industrial Engineering to improve throughput and quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering and 2–4 years in assembly/process engineering, with ERP/MES/PLM exposure.

Qualifications

• PFMEA, Control Plans, and process validation experience.
• Strong post-launch process improvement background.
• Experience with electromechanical systems and BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and launch assembly processes, workflows, and line layouts.
• Define standard work, cycle times, and assembly sequencing.
• Lead PFMEA and Control Plan activities and validate processes.
• Drive post-launch improvements for cycle time, yield, downtime, and throughput.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineering on line balancing and ergonomics.
• Support BOM improvements (eBOM→ mBOM) and SOPs.
