Elior North America is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian for Cortland Manor, NY, working onsite in a healthcare setting. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, planning interventions, and supporting residents' quality of life in line with goals.

Expected 8–16 hours per month with potential for additional coverage. Requirements include RD experience, nutrition degrees, and ongoing CE hours; licensure per state rules; strong knowledge of regulations; and the ability to educate the care

Formación

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Dietitian.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified as required by state regulations.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to establish procedures and policies related to dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and improving quality improvement programs.
