Job summary

CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, Inc., is seeking a Field Technician to join our team in the Fargo, ND area, providing end‑user support and serving as the primary onsite contact for technical and service issues.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, installing, and repairing laser printers, wide‑format printers, kiosks, POS systems and related hardware/software, with collaboration from Level II or Lead Technicians to ensure timely resolutions and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of printers, computer hardware, and software.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues with printers, kiosks, and POS systems
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software
• Perform routine maintenance to optimize equipment performance
• Deliver clear technical assistance to customers onsite and over the phone
• Maintain accurate service records and uphold quality standards
