Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or technical training preferred.
• Three years of experience in estimating, purchasing, scheduling, production planning, inventory control, or related manufacturing role preferred.
• Printing, packaging, label, or other manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quoting & Production Planning: prepare accurate quotes based on layout, printing method, colors, label size, materials, tooling, finishing requirements, and quantities; enter and follow up in ERP; create/review job tickets and production plans.
• Job Scheduling: build daily/weekly schedules based on due dates, equipment, materials, finishing/shipping needs, capacity, and efficiency; monitor status and adjust priorities for downtime or rush orders; communicate changes.
• Inventory Ordering: purchase, track, and maintain paper, film, inks, tooling, and other production materials; manage availability, lead times, delivery, and quality; maintain inventories and create jobs/POs.
• Process Improvement & Team Support: identify efficient layouts, press assignments, job combinations, and sequences; participate in meetings; support other Production Planning functions and special projects.
