Job summary

Epsen Hillmer in Omaha, NE is seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Press Supervisor to lead our printing operations. You will oversee the Flexographic, Offset, and Finishing departments, guide a team of press operators, and ensure production meets customer specifications and our quality standards.

This onsite role requires Lean, 5S, and daily improvement practices, with emphasis on safety, attendance, and performance.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience in printing or manufacturing.
• Experience with offset, flexographic, or finishing operations preferred.
• Familiarity with Lean, 5S, or daily improvement practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-shift operations across the Flexographic Press, Offset Press, and Finishing departments. Set clear expectations, coach and train employees, and hold the team accountable for performance, attendance, safety, quality, and conduct.
• Coordinate staffing and priorities to keep jobs on schedule, and monitor productivity, downtime, and waste.
• Perform quality checks and press approvals to ensure jobs meet customer specifications and Epsen Hillmer's standards.
• Apply Lean, 5S, and Managing for Daily Improvement (MDI) to reduce waste, downtime, and rework.
