Job summary

SpaceXAI seeks exceptional Electrical Engineers to join our Memphis-area team to design, build, and optimize on-site power generation for high-density AI supercomputing facilities. You will own plant electrical systems for gas turbine generation, from generator to 34.5 kV collection/export, including protection, e-houses, and switching.

You will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and power systems teams to deliver reliable, massive-scale generation and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics or electrical engineering technology.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Ability to work in hazardous environments and extended hours when needed.
• Experience with gas turbine generators and 34.5 kV collect/export systems.

Responsibilities

• Own plant electrical systems for on-site gas turbine generation enabling AI superclusters.
• Design and engineer 34.5 kV collect/export systems, protection, control, and e-houses.
• Act as switching authority for plant electrical systems including energization procedures.
• Develop single-line diagrams and protection schematics; set relay configurations.
• Perform power system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, transient stability).
• Integrate generation with plant systems and data center loads; support commissioning.
